I think the worst way to power the planet in Nuclear power. Nuclear is very costly. The cost of nuclear power plants are increasing a lot. Nuclear energy produces long lasting radioactive waste. There are also accidents that can lead to a release of radioactive material into environments. After years past nuclear can still be in the air. It can get into your lungs and can make you get cancer or leukemia. Fukushima was a nuclear accident that happened in 2011. The accident was rated a 7 on the INES scale. Over 100,000 people had to be evacuated from their houses to ensure no one would have a death because of this. This shows how bad a nuclear accident can be to people and environments.

ReplyDeleteI agree with you that nuclear power is a big problem. To me there is too many things that can go wrong with this energy source. From your post, " over 100,000 people had to be evacuated from their houses to ensure no one would have a death because of this", is very true but people still die from it. Nuclear power has a lot of big health affects and environmental affects that are very dangerous.
